- Made from soft-stretch thermoplastic elastomer (TPE)
- Thermoplastic elastomers as “specialty” plastic resins for two reasons:
- produced at lower volumes than “commodity” resins like polyethylene and at higher costs as well
- used for more specialized applications than “commodity” resins
